These sublime area rugs are tufted using an extremely well engineered balance of tiny yarns. Our patterns are intentionally simple and very generalized. The details are very large. This is because the stitch rate is so low. For instance, our Super Soft designs are tufted at 8 stiches per linear inch, instead of our standard 11, so each square inch holds 16 tufts. This creates a bulkier, fluffier, softer finish with more pile height. Less tufts, however, tend to reduce pattern detail. which lends a more natural organic and original vibe to this collection.

We welcome any catalog pattern to be interpreted using the Super Soft technique. As you can imagine some designs will work better than others. The larger the detail the better. Feel free to contribute your own ideas. Large free flow designs are wonderful in this construction.
